Xiangqi

Place your pieces according to their individual movement rules. The Commander can only travel one square at a time within the palace. Guards can only move diagonal moves within the palace. Ministers move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot move to the opponent's side. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Rooks move any number of squares straight, serving as powerful attackers. Catapults move like chariots but must capture by hopping over exactly one piece. Pawns move forward one square and attack sideways after crossing the river. Capture the opponent's general to win the game. Think ahead your moves carefully to checkmate the computer opponent.
