Gomoku

Set your marker on any unoccupied point of the board. Aim to make a row of five pieces in a row, either sideways, up and down, or at an angle. Stop your rival from forming their own row of 5. Take turns setting markers with your rival until one contestant achieves in creating a sequence of 5. Remember that the contest finishes immediately when a line of 5 is formed, with no need to occupy the entire board.
